Arcado Fourth Grader Wants Recess For All

Zeph Everson, a foruth-grader at Arcado Elementary School, started the #RecessForAll initiative to bring all his peers together on the school playground by raising $150,000 to build an ADA-compliant playground at the school.

At this moment the playground doesn’t accommodate all the students’ needs. Zeph believes that recess shouldn’t be limited, and the school agrees.

Arcado, the most diverse school in Georgia, has ASD classrooms, EBD classrooms, and is home to one of three OI (Orthopedic Impairment) programs in Gwinnett County.
