Families rule in Gwinnett! In fact, many families choose to live in our community because of its excellent schools and family-friendly atmosphere. You won”t find a better community to raise children. Take a look at some of the noted picks for the most family-oriented places around town.

Best Place to Take the Kids
There are a lot of great places around our area to spend a little one-on-one time with your children. Gwinnett”s favorites include Adrenaline Climbing, Georgia Aquarium, Lake Lanier Islands Beach and Water Park, Stone Mountain Park, Yellow River Game Ranch and the Gwinnett County Fair.

Best Child-Friendly Restaurant
Not every restaurant was designed with children in mind, but these places were all rated as child-friendly! Visit Jillian”s, Chick-fil-A Inc., Chuck E. Cheese”s, Stevi B”s and Red Robin – and take the kids!

Best Park
Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation was just named the best park system in the country! Local favorites among residents include Suwanee Town Center Park, Tribble Mill Park, Little Mulberry Park, Stone Mountain Park and Suwanee Creek Greenway.

Best Summer Activity
There”s never a case of the summer blues if you live in Gwinnett. Highest votes for hot fun in the summertime include Atlanta Braves games, Suwanee Town Center Park concerts, Stone Mountain Park and Lake Lanier Islands Beach and Water Park.

Best Family Activity
Adrenaline Climbing, Atlanta Brave”s baseball games, the Georgia Aquarium, Stone Mountain Park”s Lasershow, Georgia Force arena football games and the Gwinnett Gladiators hockey games, were all named as best places to spend a little family quality time.

Best Local Festival
For entertainment and arts galore, check out some of Gwinnett”s top picks for festival fun including Duluth Fall Festival, Suwanee Day, Yellow Daisy Festival, PAWfest, Barefoot in the Park and Norcross Art Fest.

Best School Field Trip
Gwinnett parents want to know that their children are receiving a good education, and sometimes the best educational experiences take place outside of the classroom. Parents voted the Georgia Aquarium, Mayfield Dairy Farms, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Zoo Atlanta and the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center as top places for learning outside the classroom.

Best Childcare
Gwinnett parents say that if you want to ensure that your little ones are well taken care of, check out Discovery Point, Legacy Academy, Primrose Schools, The Goddard School, The D. Scott Hudgens, Jr. Early Education Center and Kids ‘R” Kids, who each earned top votes this year.
