Armstrong Atlantic State University
Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah serves students from across the United States and 76 nations. Approximately 7,600 students enjoy the 268-acre arboretum setting of the campus. Armstrong is only minutes from the beaches on Tybee Island and from historic downtown Savannah. More than 1,400 students reside in university housing. Windward Commons, a freshman-dedicated residence hall, opened in 2010 and houses 567 students. The four-story housing complex includes cooking facilities, study halls, TV lounges, a game area and plenty of outdoor space for socializing with friends. AIM offers certificate programs in bass, drums, guitar and, beginning in October 2008, recording arts.
