Lawrenceville and Hayes Family Dealerships are excited to host Eric Culberson Blues Band for their return to Lawrenceville”s Moonlight & Music Concert Series at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on Friday, July 22 at 8 p.m.
For those attending for the first time, the Eric Culberson band will knock your socks off with Texas blues guitar sounds, a style defined by the likes of Freddie King, Johnny Copeland and Albert Collins, and a whole evening ranging from the sounds of Memphis soul to Chicago blues. The band has opened for or jammed with numerous recording artists, such as Jerry Portnoy; Carey Bell, (two of Muddy Waters” harp players); Johnny Winter; Buddy Guy; John Mayall; Tony Coleman ( B.B. King band); Jimmy Dawkins; Casey Jones (Albert Collins); Eddie Kirkland; Johnny Clyde Copeland; Koko Taylor; and Etta James.
The concerts and lawn seating are free to the public, but tables for six can be rented starting at $65 by contacting the Lawrenceville Visitors Center at 678-226-2639.
