GoWaitercom_BusinessPagesOnline Food Delivery Service Expands Local Reach

Lawrenceville resident Tom Vooris thinks it”s time for Gwinnett County to break free from the shackles of warmed-over Chinese takeout and generic pizza-in-a-cardboard-box. Vooris is happy to be a part of the food delivery service revolution as the franchisee owner and operator for Gwinnett County and North Fulton.

Having recently expanded its reach to include all of Lawrenceville, Sugar Hill and Buford, the service now features food from restaurants like On the Border, Bastie Boys BBQ, Butches All-American BBQ, Coconut Grove Jamaican and California Dreaming. Vooris – who also owns franchises that cover Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek and the Hamilton Mill area of Dacula – said placing an order with the service “is very simple.”

Here”s how it works: Diners visit the website, enter their zip code, choose a restaurant, and picks up their food and delivers it to their door. The food delivery service charges the same prices as the restaurants, but with an added delivery fee.

Vooris said he”s happy for the recent expansions. In total, the local franchises employ about a half dozen people. “We”re hoping to keep growing,” Vooris said. “It”s a service that people here really want. The potential for growth in Gwinnett is endless.”
