On Oct. 15, from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m., the second annual Harvest Balloon Festival will lift off at Sterling on the Lake, 7004 Lake Sterling Blvd. in Flowery Branch, Ga., with balloon adventures and fall festivities for all ages.
The festival is taking fun to new heights with tethered balloon rides, a balloon glow and competitive races in the sky, and even more activities down below. The balloon race and launch will take place on Saturday and Sunday between 8 and 8:30 a.m., depending on weather and wind conditions. On land, guests can celebrate fall with pumpkin carvings, hay rides, face paintings, tasty treats, games, and live music throughout the day. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour new ranch model homes by Jim Chapman Communities for the Grand Opening of Sterling on the Lake”s newest neighborhood, The Springs.
