There are two sides to every kid”s party. There”s the great time had by the birthday boy or girl and their guests, and there”s the stressed-out parent who tirelessly worked for weeks to make the event happen. Between choosing a theme, ordering invitations and a cake, decorating, keeping the children entertained and looking after everyone at the party, it can be a little much.
Stop stressing and hold a party at one of Gwinnett”s available party venues. Most party places provide lunch and an activity to keep the kids busy. Plus, there are affordable options that won”t break the bank.
The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center provides unique birthday party themes and packages for children ages five to nine years old. Themes at the GEHC range from exploring animals and plant life to imagining what life was like for early Native Americans. Birthday packages include invitations, pizza and beverages, a one-hour educational program, and a ticket to return to the Center and view their exhibits.
Adrenaline Climbing also offers parents an affordable birthday option. While food and cake aren”t included in the base party price, partygoers get two full hours of climbing action on all of the walls, and the birthday celebrator gets a fully decorated party room, commemorative T-shirt and photo.
Another affordable option is to rent a pavilion at a local park. Bring hotdogs and hamburgers for the grill, a cake, a few tablecloths and balloons for decoration and have fun! With a park party, you can spare your home from a mess and you”ll have plenty of open space for the kids to enjoy.
