Our Story: Celebrating our 10th year of operation, the Gwinnett Village CID is the largest Community Improvement District in Georgia. We are a public-private organization made up of more than 550 commercial property owners and account for over $1 Billion in property value. The district is 17 square miles straddling the I-85 corridor in southwest Gwinnett.

How We Help: We take our self-imposed tax funding and reinvest it into the local community as a means to encourage revitalization and economic development. Those funds are used to promote redevelopment, infrastructure investment, public safety, and improving roadside landscape to enhance the quality of life of those who live, work, and play in the Village.

The CID works closely with partners on the local, regional, state and federal levels. A shining example of those partnerships in action is the new diverging diamond interchange at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and I-85. The new design helps alleviate traffic congestion and improve accessibility to the core of our district.
