The Story:
Jason Chandler practices the gentle art of teaching people the joy of giving. He increases support and awareness for the Gwinnett Medical Center and is leading the fundraising efforts in bringing open heart services to Gwinnett, as well as other services like cancer care, neurosciences and women's health to the people of Gwinnett.

My Idea Of Fun:
My idea of fun is a lot of rest and relaxation with the people I love, particularly my wife Monica, daughter Olivia, 7, and son Jacob, 4. I enjoy playing the drums and exploring the amazing park system in Gwinnett County, too.

How I Got Here:
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I got a master’s degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Management from Indiana. I raised money at Emory Medicine for seven years and for Belmont University in Nashville for three years.

Things I Tell Myself:
God blesses people through our actions toward others. People that give their time and treasure are healthier, happier and live longer. Philanthropy has the power to make better both the donor and the recipient.

What I'd Most Like To See:
At this point, what I'd most like to see is a billion dollar endowment at the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.
