October is trick-or-treat time at Atlanta-area Simon malls, and there will be plenty in store for young ghouls and goblins.# From costume contests to games and sweet treats, there”s something for everyone!# Halloween events include the following:

October 15

  • Mall of Georgia holds its Fall Festival from 1-3 p.m. in the Village. Little monsters, princesses and superheroes are invited to enjoy crafts, games, a bounce house and stage performances! Radio Disney will be on site to entertain guests with songs and dance, so come ready to show your moves.# (3333 Buford Dr., Buford; 678-482-8788)

October 29

  • Gwinnett Place is calling all ghouls, ghosts and goblins to celebrate Halloween from 6- 8 p.m. Wear your best costume and come ready to trick-or-treat at participating stores and participate in the costume parade, as Radio Disney plays your favorite Disney hits! Kidgits Club members will have a special area including a bounce house and more! This is the only chance to trick-or-treat at the mall, so come early! (2100 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth; 770-476-5160)
  • Northlake Mall opens its doors for trick-or-treaters from 5-7 p.m., and kids can stock up on goodies from participating mall retailers. Stop by Guest Services for a treat and list of participating stores, and the first 200 trick-or-treaters will be receive a special Northlake Mall Halloween bag.# (4800 Briarcliff Rd., Atlanta; 770-938-3564)

#October 31

  • Mall of Georgia opens its doors to trick-or-treaters at 6 p.m. until the candy runs out! Participating stores will be handing out treats to costume-clad guests 12 years of age and younger. (3333 Buford Dr., Buford; 678-482-8788)
  • Town Center at Cobb hosts its annual Boo Bash on the upper level JC Penney wing from 6-8 p.m. Boo Bash activities will include giveaways, a bounce house, face painting and balloon artists. Kidgits members can enjoy all the activities and giveaways at no cost (non-members can join for only $5)! (400 Barrett Pkwy, Kennesaw; 770-424-9486)
  • #Town Center at Cobb will also have tons of free candy with mall-wide trick-or-treating from 6-8 p.m. Radio Disney will be in Center Court to host the costume parade and play fan favorite Disney hits. Other activities will include a costume contest and Halloween photos (available for purchase).
