Here are a couple to try some Saturday when you have lots of time:

Psycho Sisters in Lilburn # the place to come for current, retro and vintage fashions. For those of us who love finding unusual, yet trendy clothes, Psycho Sisters gets new inventory five days a week. “My philosophy is to make a little profit on a lot of stuff,” said Amanda Self, owner of Psycho Sisters. “I like to provide customers with good products at good prices.” In business for more than eight years, Self sells clothing for men, women and children plus jewelry, shoes, hats, sunglasses and other accessories. People visit her store looking for 70″s party wear, club wear, vintage dresses and coats or just a comfortable broken-in pair of jeans. Some customers are regulars, visiting the shop three to four times a week, looking for new inventory and sales. “I started a mailing list, and in a short time it has grown to 800 members. I send it out twice a month, telling customers about the sales,” said Self. And every day is a sale day at Psycho Sisters as either something or everything is discounted. The store appeals to all ages # even mothers and daughters come shopping together. Self plans to open an E-Bay store in the near future allowing more people to discover one of Gwinnett”s great clothing shops. Lost & Found Consignment & Accessories # located in historic Buford, this quaint little shop features a high-quality selection of women”s, men”s and children”s clothes. Unique jewelry also can be found here, along with knock-off Kate Spade handbags just begging to be bought. Prices are very good, and new merchandise is always being brought to the store. Owner Sherry Hughes opened Lost & Found two years ago and has watched historic Buford and her shop flourish since then. “My theory is why should consignment cost more than retail? I buy clothes that are in excellent condition, less than five years old and sell them at reasonable prices. I also sell true vintage clothes, high-end boutique merchandise and fashion jewelry.” Hughes runs the shop with the help of two part-time employees, and keeps new inventory circulating.
