Just when our boring little old closets from last season couldn”t take it any more, we checked in with Glamour magazine to find out what trends fashion editors there had their fingers on this spring – and guess what? Surprise! These looks are pretty, they”re flattering on most everyone – and they”re all absolutely 100 percent wearable.

Here are 16 looks Glamour says you”ll love to wear this season! Bye, bye boring – hello hot.

1960s coats
A-line coats in bright, cheeky colors – like canary yellow and tangerine.

70s dresses
Slinky, satiny Studio 54 dance floor in sophisticated colors like ink, emerald or sapphire.

Military vests and jackets
A-ten-hut! It”s a tough, but definitely ladylike look if you layer a flirty skirt with a cargo jacket or army-inspired vest.

High-waisted flare jeans
Skinny jeans be gone, these 70s-style jeans are hip again with tucked in tops and wedge heels.

Mix and match happy prints
Flowers, patterns – whatever make you smile. Mix it all up for maximum fun but stick to colors in the same family.

Platform shoes
They”ll make you taller, not to mention cooler and more comfortable than any other heel.

Trench dresses
Think belted trench coat, without the long sleeves.

Sheer layers
Wear a totally solid top over something sheer – to leave something to the imagination.

Something simple, and desert colors
Embellished pieces are out, low-key simple is in. Especially in hot desert colors like rust, sienna and sand.
