Chocolate Perks, a neighborhood caf## located in Historic Downtown Duluth, encourages you to come by, grab a bite and embrace the arts.

Throughout this season, the caf## will feature two talented Duluth artists, art parties, a wide variety of live music and of course – chocolate.

In July, Kayte Henderson will share her story through photography with images that capture Italy”s most prized landscapes, various beaches and a vast array of flowers. This month”s First Friday Art Walk will be on July 8 (due to the holiday week). These monthly parties are designed for patrons to meet and chat with the featured artist.

In August, Ken Hardeman, owner of Llorens Stained Glass Studios / Hardeman Fine Art Glass, will display his hand-painted stained glass artwork. Ken Hardeman and his staff have also designed, constructed and installed the beautiful windows surrounding the entrance door to Chocolate Perks. A big thank you to them for their generous gift!

Live music is also a vital part of the Chocolate Perks culture. Musicians showcased in July and August include: the acoustic duo – Mixed Genes; Kearney-Reynolds and Harrison Brown; Myron Todd of Phretnoise; ESOEBO or the Eclectic Selections Of Everything But Opera; Ron Hipp and Carol Statella from Out Of The Rain and Lee Tyler Post.

Make sure to watch out for open mic and other special events.
