FrogSomething spectacular is coming to Zoo Atlanta, and the evolution begins on Tuesday, June 4. Zoo Atlanta will host an official groundbreaking for the new amphibian and reptile experience, the first step in the construction of a state-of-the-art complex that will replace a structure familiar to many Atlantans from childhood.

The cornerstone of the single largest fundraising effort in Zoo Atlanta history, the amphibian and reptile experience is the launch pad of an exciting Master Plan that will revolutionize visitors” expectations of what to see and do at the Zoo. Zoo Atlanta has raised just under $22 million as part of an ongoing capital campaign to fund the roughly 14,000 square-foot experience, which will replace the 51-year-old World of Reptiles building; the structure is the oldest still in use for public exhibits at the Zoo.
