Hannah Keilani Blas is a current senior at South Gwinnett High School. She is not only an example of academic excellence, she is the salutatorian of the class of 2018, but she is also a staple for student involvement.
Hannah is the vice president of the National Beta Club, president of the National Honors Society, a member of the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team, a member of the Snellville Youth Commission, and a team officer for the South Gwinnett Leadership, and several other clubs and groups. She’s known for always being there to help a classmate in need and will do it with an ever-present smile. She addresses any new person she meets with respect and kindness, a breath of fresh air for the tiring days at school.
Hannah’s dedication, involvement, and spirit shine in any club, class, and event she is present in. She intends to work in the international relations in the US territory of Guam. Hannah is a proud Guamanian, or how natives say Chamorro, and advocates how she dreams of reconnecting with her culture. Hannah intends to attend the University of California, Irvine and major in international relations after graduation. From being classmates with her since middle school, I have seen just how outstanding she is as both a person and a student. She’s never turned away from someone who needs a helping hand and is adored by both students and teachers. Her hard work and great spirit is what makes Hannah Blas a true embodiment of success.
