Eastside Urgent Care, in association with Eastside Medical Center, is proud to announce that they will be opening 3 brand new urgent care centers in Gwinnett County. The centers are scheduled to open in early 2017 and are the first in Eastside Medical Center’s strategy to expand their urgent care services to the community.
Eastside Medical Center has been a healthcare leader for more than 35 years providing quality care to patients in Gwinnett and surrounding counties. Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatrics, 24-hour emergency care and now urgent care.
Eastside Urgent Care will offer patients convenient locations to meet their healthcare needs. “For medical needs that do not require a visit to the emergency department, or in instances when a patient is unable to see their primary care physician, Eastside Urgent Care will be able to fill the gap between primary care and emergency care needs,” said Eastside Medical Centers Chief Executive Officer Trent Lind.
Offering quality care with convenience, Eastside Urgent Care will offer extended weekday hours until 8 p.m. as well as weekend hours. Additionally, patients will have the option to use an advanced queuing system that will allow them to choose and hold an appointment time that is convenient for them and skip the wait. The automated system will send the patient a text when they are next in line.
“I am excited to lead our team of healthcare professionals in offering additional patient access points for advanced care for serious, non-life threatening urgent medical needs. Our ability to treat minor injuries, illnesses, and time-sensitive ailments, along with having on-site x-ray and lab capabilities, will help the people in this community access quality care and get back to doing the things they enjoy,” stated the Director of Operations for Eastside Urgent Care, Dr. Navreet Pannu.
The first Eastside Urgent Care center location is scheduled to open in January of 2017 and will be located at the intersection of Sugarloaf Parkway and Five Forks Trickum Road. For more information, and updates on additional locations please visit www.eastsideuc.com.
