Peachtree Elementary School third graders concluded a two-week reading contest with a special visit from some of Ringlings famous clowns and performers for a circus-themed pep rally. Most notably, the pep rally featured legendary Ringmaster David Shipman and other circus performers, as well as First Lady Deal who attended to congratulate the students on their reading accomplishments. First Lady Deal read a childrens book written by local University of Georgia football star Malcolm Mitchell, The Magicians Hat, to students during her visit.
