Partnership Gwinnett, in collaboration with The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC), announced the Amazing Entrepreneur Contest finalists in the Established and Pre-Venture categories at its annual contestant reception.
The following are finalists in their respective category:

- Gwinnett Arts and Entertainment
Contest finalists in the Established and Pre-venture categories will move on to a final pitch about their business before the winners are announced during the Gwinnett Chamber’s Pinnacle Small Business Awards ceremony on October 12.
“Small business is an integral part of Gwinnett’s strong economy,” said Gwinnett County Commission Chair Charlotte Nash. These businesses are the future and we are fortunate to have them thriving in Gwinnett.”
The Established business winner will take home $5,000 to support their future business efforts. Additionally, the business will receive start-up consulting from Sterling Rose Consulting, a one-year Gwinnett Chamber membership ($500 minimum value), passes to attend the Chamber’s Small Business Summit ($120 value) and legal consultation with Arkad Associates ($2,000 value).
“The diversity of businesses and pre-ventures in this year’s contest is outstanding,” said Partnership Gwinnett’s Chairman Mike Levengood. “Entrepreneurs play an important role in the success of Partnership Gwinnett’s effort to keep Gwinnett’s small business community thriving!”
The winner of the Pre-Venture category will receive start-up consulting with Sterling Rose Consulting and additional prizes to be announced.
“I am pleased with the response and quality of submissions by Gwinnett entrepreneurs for this year’s Contest. These entrepreneurs reflect the quality of startup businesses that are emerging in our community,” said Partnership Gwinnett’s Director of Entrepreneurship, Li Wong.
The University of Georgia SBDC has partnered with Partnership Gwinnett to host the contest since its inception in 2010.
