“This world is but a canvas to our imagination.”
-Henry David Thoreau
Whether it be music, dance, visual arts or theater, the expression of creativity and emotion have a remarkable and enduring power. Just one chord, just one lyric, just one image, just one motion… but with the ability to connect to so many.

Whether your tastes run to the classic or you’re a little bit country, Gwinnett has it all.
So, what do you feel like doing tonight? Maybe see Paul McCarthy at the Infinite Energy Center? How about the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s staging of The Nutcracker? Will it be opening night at the Aurora Theatre for you? Or, will you enjoy the talents of a promising new singer / songwriter at Eddie Owen Presents? If you live in (or near) Gwinnett, those are just a few of your choices on any given night.
Gwinnett’s arts and entertainment options are rich and varied, and one unique gem is Eddie Owen Presents at the Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth. _Considered “the songwriter’s best friend, Eddie Owen Presents is a music venue, music school and a home away from home for performing singer-songwriters and their fans.
Located in the downtown Duluth historic area in the midst of tantalizing eateries, quaint shops, the lure of an open-air town green and intriguing mix of arts and entertainment venues, the Red Clay Music Foundry boasts a 260-seat listening room that hosts “the most talented musicians on the planet.”
Founder Eddie Owen, a star in his own right, has a particular talent for spotting emerging artists. After all, he helped superstars John Mayer, the Indigo Girls and Sugarland get their starts by giving them an intimate stage to hone their craft and build a following. His rapport with the grassroots music scene and credibility in the industry is unmatched.
Eddie Owen Presents always has a full and diverse slate of performances on the calendar, ranging from concerts to the famed Songwriters Open Mic Nights twice monthly, all offering a special evening of entertainment.
As part of creating a place of music, the lower level of the Red Clay Music Foundry hosts Gwinnett School of Music’s newest location. In addition to private music lessons, they offer group and ensemble classroom instruction and workshops.
Eddie Owen Presents also hosts live music events outside of Red Clay Music Foundry and works closely with the city of Duluth on events on the Duluth Town Green.
