Gwinnett OB-GYN Associates, P.C. is proud to welcome Dr. Ujuka Iloabuchi to their practice in Snellville.

Dr. Iloabuchi discovered her passion for womens health while attending New Yorks Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and she completed her internship and residency here in Atlanta at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Her areas of special interest include high-risk obstetrics, preventative care, contraception, minimally invasive procedures for gynecologic issues, and treating women whove experienced miscarriage and pregnancy loss.

A married mother of a daughter herself, Dr. Iloabuchi enjoys providing excellent care for women of all ages–from puberty through menopause. Having recently completed all of her training, she appreciates being able to integrate the latest research, findings and technology into her patient care plans.

Its important for women of all ages to find an ob-gyn that they are comfortable with and see that physician every year, says Dr. Iloabuchi. That annual check-up, she says, provides the time for annual tests to be performed, a breast exam to be completed, discussions about family planning to occur, and any other issues of concern to be thoroughly discussed.

As a womans health needs and concerns change over her lifetime, having that enduring relationship with a skilled physician can be invaluable. While the guidelines for some diagnostic tests are changing, Dr. Iloabuchi is steadfast in her recommendation for all women to begin mammograms at age 40.
