The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for an eight-game homestand from Thursday, August 18 through Thursday, August 25.
Friday, August 19 is Stand Up To Cancer Night (presented by Fifth Third Bank) and concludes with FOX 5 Friday Night Fireworks.
On Saturday, August 20, G-Braves’ mascot Chopper the Groundhog celebrates his eighth birthday, and the first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a Chopper Bobblehead (presented by Georgia Power).
Sunday, August 21 is the last “Sunday Funday” of 2016 (presented by Georgia United Credit Union) as fans are invited to play catch on the field prior to the game and kids (ages 12 and under) can run the bases after the game.
Also after the Sunday afternoon game, the upcoming FOX TV show “Pitch” will air on the Coolray Field video board in an exclusive showing prior to the show’s September 22 premiere.
