Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett hosted "Building on a Decade of Healing" at Flint Hill in Norcross. The event was a celebration of both Good Samaritan’s 10th anniversary, and the acquisition of a new facility in downtown Norcross.
The new facility will house new dental, pediatric, and pharmacy programs that will augment Good Samaritan Gwinnett’s current primary healthcare services. All of the services are exclusively available to those who lack any form of health insurance.
Over its ten years, Good Samaritan Gwinnett has partnered with 1,350 volunteer medical providers to deliver more than 68,000 patient visits to the poor and uninsured. The market value of those services exceeds $10 Million. In their new facility, Good Samaritan Gwinnett expects to provide 25,000 patient visits per year over the coming 5 years.
The event raised more than $20,000 to further Good Samaritan Gwinnett’s service to the Metro Atlanta community.
