The visual arts from paintings to pottery, sculpture to photography are found and celebrated throughout the daily lives of Gwinnettians. There are dozens of great resources to learn visual art skills, and a number of galleries for public enjoyment of artworks.
The hub of visual arts in Gwinnett is the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts in Duluth. This impressive facility offers several gallery spaces, including a large area dedicated to exhibitions of art for children. The Hudgens Center also has extensive arts education facilities and programs, rental spaces for weddings and other events, and an art-focused gift shop.
Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford is a unique facility in which artists maintain their own working studios in spaces that are open to the public.
And there are other great visual art galleries in the community, including Kudzu Art Zone in Norcross and the LONA Gallery in Lawrenceville, as well as organizations that focus on arts training.
