The Official Signing Ceremony of The Strategic Alliance Memorandum between The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce & The U.S. Small Business Administration

The signing of the strategic alliance memorandum commits both entities to collaborate in supporting the development of small businesses across the Metro Atlanta area.
What: Small Business Money Matters Monday – Two Great Sessions

11:00 – Noon: Session I: Managing Credit for Business Success
Good credit is one of a business owner’s most valuable assets. But strong credit isn’t something that you simply have or you don’t have. Building credit is an active, ongoing process that takes careful management. This workshop we will be focusing on the credit and financing needs of businesses like yours. We’ll cover how credit and lending work, explore the possibilities of credit financing, and show you how to make the most of your credit opportunities – both traditional and nontraditional.

12:30 – 1:30: Session II: Accessing the Right Capital at the Right Time to Scale your Business
Starting a business is easy but scaling a business is hard. Growth often brings challenges before it brings success. Businesses trying to navigate the constraints of working capital issues and cash flow challenges are often directed to standard solutions without really analyzing their specific issues. Archie Jones, former private equity investor and CFO of NOW Corp will look at the real causes of these scaling problems and will discuss a variety of solutions for each situation.

Creating a thriving multi-generational workplace

Join a Boomer and Millennial in a conversation about how to embrace the rewards and challenges of working in a multi-generational workplace. Has working in teams become extremely difficult?
This workshop is the shift in perspective you need to create an enjoyable and productive multi-generational team. Come to understand, be understood and walk away with practical tools that will enable your business to thrive. It is possible to be successful with multiple generations in the workforce, all you need is the right perspective and system to implement. (Light breakfast included)

For small businesses interested in learning how to sell their goods or services to the county – this is a can’t miss event! Join the Gwinnett Chamber and Gwinnett County purchasing and procurement staff at this half-day, hands on opportunity to learn how to find and secure opportunities with Gwinnett County. If you are a new or small business interested in learning how to sell your products and goods to the County, this is a must attend event. (Light breakfast included)
