Unveiling of the new sign at Infinite Energy Center on Wednesday, December 2, Infinite Energy announced it has entered into a financial partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation. In a special check presentation, Infinite Energy founders Darin Cook and Rich Blaser presented a check totaling $41,325.00 to the foundation.
Infinite Energy purchased the naming rights to the former Gwinnett Center earlier this year for $18 million for a 20-year period. “We’ve focused our corporate citizenship program on education so we could make the greatest possible impact,” said CEO Darin Cook. “Investing in Gwinnett County means investing in its future, and our education initiative helps us do just that through the Gwinnett County Public School Foundation.”
J. Alvin Wilbanks, CEO and superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools was present to accept the donation. “In Gwinnett County Public Schools we are focused on transforming the education of students, providing a quality and effective education that helps prepare students for the world in which they will live and work. We are very appreciative of Infinite Energy’s interest in our students and their support of our STEM initiative and our focus on robotics.”
