As a general rule, going in person to your new City Hall is a good place to start. There, you can easily get information on which utility companies service your particular address. You can also get some information by visiting your city’s website. Gwinnett County provides water and sewer services through its Department of Water Resources. Private companies in unincorporated areas usually provide trash pickup and recycling. Gas companies are listed individually, depending on service territories. There’s also a list of electricity providers that service Gwinnett. If you need to quickly identify the electricity provider for a new property, just look for the provider name on your electricity meter.
