The Gwinnett Chambers 5th Annual Button Down Dash 5K & 10K, presented by Gwinnett Medical Center, will benefit Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services, the recipient of the Chambers D. Scott Hudgens Humanitarian Award at the 2016 Annual Dinner in February. Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services strives to sustain a united community of healthy, drug-free, self-sufficient individuals and families which honors diversity and supports all members success in learning, work and life.
Created in an effort to help drive the greater Gwinnett County area toward becoming the healthiest community in the state of Georgia, the Button Down Dash also provides an opportunity to give back to our community through fundraising and donations.
Held on Saturday, August 6, the race will kick off at 7:30 a.m. at the Gwinnett Chamber parking lot, where it will also conclude. Whether you are a runner, walker, volunteer or just enjoy cheering on the runners, the entire community is invited to join the Gwinnett Chamber in its efforts to support a healthy lifestyle as well as local organizations. All participants are invited to take part in the finish line festivities, including a DJ, sponsor booths with food and other concessions, and an awards ceremony.
Business colleagues, family and friends are encouraged to register to race together. Race materials for registered individual participants can be obtained at the Button Down Dash packet pick-up held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 5, at the Gwinnett Chamber. Team packet pick-up will be held from 2 to 3 p.m.
