As part of their culture of caring, Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta will be the next destination to host Coffee with a Cop, an ongoing event implemented by the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Community members are invited to join local police officers at the hotel on Friday, June 10, from 9 10:30 a.m., for a community discussion. Sonesta Gwinnett Place will provide coffee and tea plus pastries for guests.
Coffee with a Cop is a police initiative designed to break down the barriers between local police officers and the residents they serve by creating an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers of the Gwinnett community.
Coffee with a Cop is an event that we feel truly reflects our Culture of Caring, said Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta General Manager David Kohlasch. By hosting this event, we are giving our community members and police officers the opportunity to meet and discuss challenges and concerns within the community, which is sometimes hard to do in todays world. We are honored to be able to provide a place to facilitate this discussion and create some transparency within our community.
