The Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton emerges as a shining example of healthcare excellence. Part of the Northeast Georgia Health System, a not-for-profit entity committed to enhancing community health, this 134-bed hospital represents more than just medical services; it stands as a beacon of hope and comprehensive care for the Greater Braselton area.
At the core of NGMC-Braselton’s offerings is a wide range of specialized services. From advanced heart and vascular care to cutting-edge neurosciences and orthopedics, the hospital is equipped to handle a diverse array of medical needs. Their cancer treatment and surgery facilities are state-of-the-art, ensuring patients receive the best possible care in their fight against cancer.
Emergency services at NGMC-Braselton are notable for their efficiency and effectiveness, a crucial aspect for any healthcare facility. The hospital also boasts robust obstetrical services and a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), providing critical care for newborns and peace of mind for parents.
Beyond these services, the Braselton campus is a healthcare hub in itself. It houses Medical Plaza B, which includes specialty physician offices, a resource center, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services. Medical Plaza 1 further expands the healthcare offerings with an urgent care center, imaging center, endoscopy suite, outpatient lab, therapy services, physician offices and the Braselton Cancer Center.
The campus’ recent addition, the beautiful Braselton Surgery Center, recently opened and encompasses the entire ground floor of the new Medical Plaza 2. This ambulatory surgery center includes 4 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms and twenty patient rooms. Two additional 30,000 square feet floors above the surgery center will soon be home to more physician offices. This extensive network ensures that the community has access to a wide range of medical services in a single, convenient location.
Northeast Georgia Health System’s commitment to the community goes beyond the walls of its hospitals. NGHS operates five hospital campuses across the region, including NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Barrow, NGMC Habersham, and NGMC Lumpkin, collectively offering more than 850 beds and featuring over 1,300 medical staff members representing more than 60 specialties. This expansive network ensures that high-quality healthcare is never far away for the residents of Northeast Georgia.
Integral to NGHS’s success are its four core values, which guide the interactions among physicians, staff, volunteers, board members, and patients.
