It houses Medical Plaza B, which includes specialty physician offices, a resource center, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services. Medical Plaza 1 further expands the healthcare offerings with an urgent care center, imaging center, endoscopy suite, outpatient lab, therapy services, physician offices and the Braselton Cancer Center.
The campus’ recent addition, the beautiful Braselton Surgery Center, recently opened and encompasses the entire ground floor of the new Medical Plaza 2. This ambulatory surgery center includes 4 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms and twenty patient rooms. Two additional 30,000 square feet floors above the surgery center will soon be home to more physician offices. This extensive network ensures that the community has access to a wide range of medical services in a single, convenient location.
Northeast Georgia Health System’s commitment to the community goes beyond the walls of its hospitals. NGHS operates five hospital campuses across the region, including NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Barrow, NGMC Habersham, and NGMC Lumpkin, collectively offering more than 850 beds and featuring over 1,300 medical staff members representing more than 60 specialties.
